Recently, an undisguised picture taken from inside the facility in Spain has exposed new information about the KTM 390 Duke, a sub-500cc roadster class motorcycle. 2024 KTM 390 Duke: All You Need to Know About Its Upgrades
The 2024 KTM 390 Duke, while featuring some design changes, retains the unmistakable KTM look. The bike now boasts orange-colored wheels with a blue tank shade and may also come with white wheels in different colorways. The subframe has been heavily influenced by the 790 and 890 Duke models.
New additions include alloy wheels and front disc rotors, directly mounted to the wheels, with radially mounted calipers. The engine casing is also new, hinting at a new engine architecture. The swingarm and rear suspension duties have been reworked, with an off-set mono-shock unit, and a new tail light design. Other features include an underbelly exhaust, sharper headlight design, and large angular tank shrouds.
The 2024 version of the bike features a redesigned body, with a more prominent and sharper tank extension. The headlight, seats, and mirrors are also new, while the switchgear is revised with a new red-colored switch on the left side.
Although details are not yet known, the engine case and exhaust path are different from the current generation, suggesting a modest increase in displacement. The 390 Duke will also have updated features, including traction control and cornering ABS, with the possibility of retaining full-LED lighting and Bluetooth-enabled color TFT display from the current generation.
